"Horizonlines.org is a general-interest online magazine produced by students in the capstone course for the online journalism emphasis at Minnesota State University Moorhead." -Horizonlines.org

Myself and several other students, from different departments around MSUM, were invited to join the Horizonlines staff at the beginning of the seventh Volume, "Collective History". The class was split up into various groups concentrating on different aspects of the project that needed to be done.

During development there were no official titles for everyones position allowing people to help out in various ways in various roles. Eventually I was deemed the "Multimedia Producer" of the "Graphic Design Team" and helped develop a majority of the graphical and technical aspects of the magazine's online portion. My role continued to expand throughout the semester to include working on most every aspect of the online journal and managing the design team.

To the right you'll find links leading to different pages that expand on my varied roles throughout the development of the online magazine, including the awards it has earned and a link leading to Horizonlines.org (The link to Horizonline.org will open a new page)
